Bill’s 51 Pan
Bill bought this 1951 Harley Davidson Panhead off a guy in North Carolina . It had an all original frame and motor with a lot of replacement parts. Bill started with pulling the bike apart and then he went over all the mechanical parts. Since the paint wasn’t show quality he decided to do something different with it. Bill wanted it to reflect the old hot rod era so he had Kevin “Hollywood” Henderson put some cool scallop designs on the tanks and fenders. They then went over the whole bike with a couple of spray paint cans to make a patina-style finish. Most chrome pieces on the bike were powder coated gloss black and Bill found a rare original Bates seat to finish the bike off. A couple days after he finished the bike, Bill took it to Sturgis, South Dakota where he racked up over 1,400 miles with it. This bike was featured on the cover of Cycle Source magazine in the November issue in 2009!
